DRAMA GROUP
The Drama group meets once a month to discuss new business and make plans for the yearly production.

New members are always welcome and no previous experience is required.

We will have a wrap up meeting sometime late in March. The time and date to be announced.

"WRINKLES 7" OPENS FEB. 27th -
Coming soon to the Senior Center is the COA Drama Group
and their show
"Wrinkles 7: We're Off Our Walkers".
Each winter our performers, artists and volunteers create an original comedy under the direction of Marci Littlefield. This show will follow the tradition of the previous "Wrinkles" shows by including singing, dancing and a lot of laughs. Marci has written "We're Off Our Walkers" in the style of Chamber Theater, a theatrical form which integrates acting and reading.
The show consists of two one-act plays.
Act One, "Lost on Aisle Three", centers around the comedic action in a grocery store as characters try to find something to cook for dinner.
Act Two, "The Walkers", is the story of five women who leave everything behind and go for a long, long walk on Cape Cod.
Show Dates:
Sat., Feb. 27 @ 1:30
Tues, March 2 @ 1:30
Thurs., March 4 @ 1:30 and
Sat., March 6 @ 1:30

Last year's show sold out, so purchase your tickets early. If you leave your name and a phone number, you will be contacted in case of a storm cancellation. The doors open 30 minutes before the show begins. Tickets are on sale at the front desk now and are $6 each.

Food Pantry Drive
at COA The COA Drama Group is sponsoring a drive to collect food for the Marshfield Food Pantry. Co-chair of this drive, Gerry Shanley and Joan Butler, hope to fill 4 shopping carts with canned and packaged food to benefit those in need. Your donated items can be a "Star" in the up-coming Drama Group production of "Wrinkles 7". The Drama Group will use the donations as items in carts on stage and afterwards they will donate it all to the Food Pantry. From now until March 6 you can drop off non-perishable food and personal care items in the box in the Senior Center's front lobby. Please check expiration dates and be sure the items are non-perishable and unopened. Thank you for your generosity.
