Anyone? Natalie
Mack and her crew, Irene Burke, Virginia Chandler, Cynthia Smith, Blanch York,
Edna McGrath, Vera Gearin and Lucy Venezia have made 1000 's of squares for the
Salvation Army Afghans that are put together and sent to those in need.
They
are now on to new projects:
Esther Mattson has asked them to join her in making
blankets to be sent to the New England Medical Center.
They are also making
Premie hats and booties for Local Hospitals.
Mary Lou McLean has introduced
them to a fun program making knitted dolls for the children in Africa.
If
you would like to join our knitting group come by the
Senior Center on a Friday
afternoon at 1:00 pm.
If you would like to make any of
these things at home we have patterns available and spare yarn if needed.
