American Antique Toys Slideshow
Some of the most memorable objects in our lives are the toys we had as children. These small objects stimulate cherished memories of our innocent days and the people who shared them with us. On Thursday January 26th, 2012
at 1:00 pm a slideshow will be presented on Antique Toys in America. The presentation will attempt to quickly survey toys from 1800 to 1960 without a heavy concentration in any specific realm. Most toys through those years were produced in factories, but the presentation will also show a few handmade toys, probably intended for family members. The program will run about one hour and afterwards there will be refreshments, coffee, and informal discussions. The speaker will be antiques writer Bob Jackman.
